Coastguard teams search for missing woman on the Isle of Sheppey

Coastguard teams from across the county assisted with search operation to locate a missing woman on the Isle of Sheppey.
Police received a report of concern for a women who had gone missing from Sheerness at around 4.30am this morning.
Medway and Sheppey Coastguard Rescue Team and Sheerness RNLI lifeboat were asked to assist police.
A HM Coastguard helicopter from Lydd was also dispatched.
She was located in Minster close to the sea and transported to hospital.
A police spokeswoman said: "At 4.38am on Saturday, 7 December 2019 police received a report of concern for a woman that had gone missing from Sheerness.
"Emergency services located her near the sea in Minster and she was placed into the care of medical professionals at a local hospital."
