A man has been taken to hospital after crashing on a main route bridge.
The Sheppey Crossing was closed after a car crashed into the central reservation between the carriageways.
The smash took place on the A249 road, heading towards the Isle of Sheppey, just before 11.45pm last night and emergency services were sent to the scene.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene and he was then taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for further medical attention.
His injuries are not described as life-threatening.
Police shut the bridge so the car could be recovered and it reopened around 1.30am.
