Sheppey: Crash closes Queenborough Road, Halfway, in both directions

A busy road was closed in both directions after a car crashed into a telegraph pole.
The red Ssangyong is understood to have veered off the road and ended up facing against the flow of traffic at around 4pm.
Police said no one was injured, but Queenborough Road in Halfway was initially closed in both directions as emergency services raced to the scene.
It happened near to the junction with Belgrave Road.
It is understood the road is now partially opened, although motorists are being warned to expect delays in the area.
A police spokesman said: "The vehicle involved is now awaiting recovery."
UK Power Networks confirmed on its website 47 customers had lost power as a result of damage caused by the crash.
It says engineers are at the scene trying to fix the problem, but warned supplies may not be reconnected until 11pm at the earliest.
