Darts legend Eric Bristow cut the ribbon for a betting shop’s grand opening.
The five times world champion was at Ladbrokes in Sheerness on Saturday and took on customers at his own game.
Members of the public were given nine darts to throw while the former professional was given just six.
Anyone who got a higher score on the board won a £5 bet.
Marketplace manager at the High Street store, Sachin Prabhakar, said: “We had 23 customers who beat him. It was mainly in the beginning when he was warming up.”
The Crafty Cockney is a regular visitor to the Island as his father lives here.
He agreed to the public appearance after bumping into Ladbrokes employee Ken Johnson in the Royal Hotel in Broadway, Sheerness.
Food and drink was available on the day and guests could also have their photos taken with Eric.
