The Leysdown Horse and Equine Fair raised £1,005.
The event saw 105 horses owners parade around Sheppey with their owners on Saturday, August 20.
All of the money raised will be given to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Organiser Henry Cooper Jr said: “I would’ve liked to have raised a lot more, but it’s a £1,000 they didn’t have.”
Mr Cooper also thanked the Dicken’s Inn, Fourth Avenue, Eastchurch, and the Flying Dutchman, Queenborough High Street, for their donations.
It was the second year running the event had taken place.
Organisers worked closely with Swale council’s Safety Advisory Group to make sure the day was planned safely.
