Firefighters tackle fire in Wood Street flat, in Sheerness

Fire crews have been pictured at the scene of a blaze at a flat this afternoon.
Four fire engines were sent to an address in Wood Street, Sheerness, at 1.49pm today.
Firefighters put out the flames just before 4pm but are still at the scene.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said paramedics took care of one person in shock.
The ambulance service confirmed the patient did not require further hospital treatment.
Firefighters also provided support to affected residents.
