The driver and passengers of a car had a lucky escape after firefighters helped a people carrier back to dry land.
Crews were sent to the shingle bank along Marine Parade, Minster, Sheppey, at 8.59pm on Wednesday where the car had got stuck after rolling down a slip way.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said they had to winch it back towards the shore.

The Sheppey Coastguard team was also sent to help.
No injuries were reported and crews left at 9.31pm.
Pictures show at least four firefighters securing the vehicle before it was attached to the fire engine.
It is understood the driver had a woman and child on board.
One eyewitness, who did not want to be named, said: "I personally think people need to use common sense, that way the emergency services can go where they are really needed."
