Happy 'first' birthday Emily!
13:53, 29 February 2012
Emily Wells had an extra special party at the weekend to celebrate her first “proper” birthday today (Wednesday).
She was born on February 29, 2008, meaning she is a leap year baby.
So although she looks like any other four year old, today is technically her first birthday.
Emily, who goes to Woodlands Day Nursery in Minster, enjoyed a Pirate and Princess Party with friends and family at Layzells Tavern, The Broadway, Minster, on Sunday.
Her mum Kelly, of Harebell Close, Minster, said: “It was really busy at the party – Emily really enjoyed it.”
The family was planning to go out for a meal tonight.
