Police were called just before 11pm yesterday after concerns were raised about the welfare of a man.
He was said to have been in the area of the Sheppey Crossing.
A police spokesman said: "The National Police Air Service helicopter was used to help search for the man, who was later identified and found safe and well at his home address in Minster."
