Crash causes delays on Lower Road, Minster, Sheppey

An accident involving two cars resulted in long delays for drivers heading towards Sheppey.
An eyewitness said a car had gone into a ditch along the Lower Road between Cowstead Corner and Barton Hill Drive.
Police say the vehicles collided in Lower Road, Minster at about 3.35pm.
The road was partially blocked, leading to lengthy queues.
There were long delays in Brielle Way heading towards Sheerness, on the Sheppey Crossing and in Queenborough Road, towards Minster.
A police spokesman said: "Officers are currently at the scene where one lane is open and they are conducting enquiries."
