A man arrested in a Kent town yesterday has been charged with murder.
Demetrios Kyriacou was detained in Sheerness yesterday as part of an investigation into the murder of Imani Allaway-Muir, who was gunned down in London.
Residents of the Isle of Sheppey town saw armed police descend on the town centre yesterday afternoon.
It's believed Kyriacou was apprehended in the Hope Street area.
The 33-year-old is one of five arrested in connection with the fatal shooting, and another man - 27-year-old Hamza Hassan - was also charged with the murder yesterday.
Mr Allaway-Muir, 22, died of gunshot wounds on Saturday, July 4.
Two London men were charged with the murder on July 7, 34-year-old Matthew Hardy and Nathaniel Reece, 39.
They appeared at Highbury Corner magistrates' court and will next appear at the Old Bailey on September 28.
