Sheppey man charged with assaulting a Southeastern worker at Sittingbourne train station

A man has been charged after a railway worker was reportedly punched.
British Transport Police (BTP) were called to Sittingbourne railway station shortly before 5pm on Tuesday, January 2 following reports of anti-social behaviour.
It was reported a drunken man had hit a Southeastern enforcement officer after they had removed him from the station.
Scott Hill, 47, of Rushenden Road, Rushenden, near Queenborough on Sheppey, has since been charged with assault.
He is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on February 6.
