Ersen Ndrecaj, of Maple Street, Sheerness, charged with robbery and fraud

A man has been charged with robbery and fraud after a woman had her purse stolen.
The victim was targeted in Invicta Road, Sheerness, at about 8.10pm on Wednesday, January 9.
The next day a bank card was used to place a bet.
Ersen Ndrecaj, of Maple Street, Sheerness, was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of robbery and fraud by misrepresentation.
The 18-year-old appeared before Medway magistrates yesterday and was released on bail.
He is due at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday, February 14.
