Man, 43, charged following burglary on Sheppey

Detectives have charged a man following a break-in on the Isle of Sheppey in the early hours of Saturday where a woman was also assaulted.
Michael Hanmore, 43, of Queenborough Road, Minster, is charged with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.
He was arrested on Sunday night at a property in London in connection with the incident and remanded in custody.
Hanmore appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court this morning and was remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on June 7.
Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have been at the property since Saturday and were still there today (Tuesday).
A police spokesman said: "During the early hours of Saturday, May 7, a property is reported to have been targeted. A woman was then assaulted before a car was stolen."
He said the man and woman are not known to each other.
