Man in his 50s dies after collapsing in doctors surgery at Sheppey Community Hospital, Plover Road, Minster

A man has died from a suspected cardiac arrest after he collapsed in a medical centre this morning.
The man, aged in his 50s, was in the doctors surgery at Sheppey Community Hospital in Plover Road, Minster, when he fell to the ground and was not breathing.
An ambulance was called at 10.15am. A number of medical staff at the site attempted to resuscitate him before the arrival of two ambulances and two ambulance cars.
Despite their efforts he was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service thanked the medical staff for their efforts in trying to save the man's life before their arrival and said, "our thoughts are with his family".
