A lifeboat had to rescue a man from an inflatable yesterday.
Crews were called half a mile offshore at The Leas, Minster, after a dinghy's motor failed.
A man was invited on the lifeboat, which towed his boat at the Shingle Bank.
The sailor was warned about the dangers of the sea.
The crew were back at the station at 7.30pm.
