A man who lost his leg in a motorcycle accident has taken up an all-action hobby.
Daniel Hughes, 21, has done one skydive and is already planning his next, despite having a below-knee amputation to his right leg earlier this year.
Mr Hughes, from Sheerness, decided to take part in the 13,000ft jump after working with PACE, a company which works offering rehabilitation to amputees.
He took part in the skydive in Nottinghamshire and enjoyed it so much he hopes to do more.
Mr Hughes said: "I was so fortunate in having people who were supportive and who understood what was needed to inspire me to take on a challenge like this. I was determined not to feel sorry for myself but to get on with life, and the skydive was exactly the thing I was looking for.
"PACE have been marvellous at providing me with treatment but also in matching my motivation, since most of them are amputees too and can truly empathise with my position."
