Minster's Chris Goymer sets sights on Dart 18 world crown after claiming top junior title

Chris Goymer has his eyes on becoming overall Dart 18 world champion after clinching the junior accolade a fortnight ago.
Goymer, from Minster, claimed the title of top junior in the world at the Royal Belgian Sailing Club.
The 20-year-old said: "It was an overwhelming feeling and a bit of a shock to see that I have improved so much. I was niggling away at the top 10 throughout the event.
"After finishing 11th overall, the next step up is to get on the podium in the real thing.
"Getting sponsorship for myself, to help me progress, is now key."
He is following in the footsteps of fellow Isle of Sheppey Sailing Club member Dan Norman, who has previously held the world title.
Norman, competing for senior honours in Belgium, claimed second place with crew Melanie Rogers.
