Sheppey Crossing closing again for maintenance work

Drivers are being reminded of planned Sheppey Crossing closures this week to allow resurfacing work to take place.
The Sittingbourne-bound carriageway will be shut from 8pm on Friday to 11am on Sunday in the last of a series of closures.
The A249 will be shut from the Iwade junction and the Cowstead Corner roundabout and vehicles will be diverted via the Kingsferry Bridge and Sheppey Way.
The work was scheduled for November but was put back due to bad weather.
