Mother and son rescued from mud off Minster

A woman and her son suffered from hypothermia after being trapped in mud off Minster.
Thames Coastguard had an emergency call at just before 3.30pm, saying a mother and son were stuck in mud off Marine Parade, Sheerness.
Sheerness and Medway rescue teams were sent, together with firefighters, police and ambulance.
The pair were eventually spotted at Oak Point, Minster by the police helicopter.
A crew walked the two to safety, and both were taken to Medway Maritime Hospital suffering from hypothermia.
