Costa Coffee has unveiled plans to open its first shop on the Isle of Sheppey. It is taking a 1,200 square feet unit at Neats Court, Queenborough.
Giles Haywood of developers LXB confirmed the news today. Plans have already been lodged with Swale council.
Mr Haywood said: “I can confirm Costa is coming to the scheme.”
He added: “We are also in discussions with one or two other national restaurant operators for the land next to the Marston’s Five Bridges where we have planning permission for several small restaurant and retail units.”
He said other names will be released later. It is thought a national burger chain may already be in negotiations.
