The latest business at the £30m Neats Court retail park opened its doors today, creating 60 jobs.
The B&M Bargains branch, which sells home furnishings, toys, confectionary, outdoor and DIY goods, welcomed its first customers at the Queenborough site at 9am.
Local fundraiser Kelly Strudwick, 26, was there after she was selected as the store’s local hero.
She received £250 worth of vouchers which she intends to use to fund tombola and raffle prizes for her chosen charity Mitrofanoff Support.
The ribbon was cut by MP Gordon Henderson.
