A Sheppey beauty is hoping to scoop another pageant title.
Nicole Harris, from Minster, flew out to Romania on Saturday to compete in Miss European.
The 24-year-old is representing Scotland, where her dad is from, against women from around 30 countries in the week long competition.
During the trip, she will visit Dracula’s Castle and the home of the Parliament of Romania as well as taking part in photo shoots and a charity ball.
She will be competing in different outfits including swimwear, evening wear and national wear.
Nicole, who works for Island Performing Arts, joined beauty competitions in 2006 when, at 16, she was crowned Miss Sheppey. Since then she has won many other UK carnival titles and picked up numerous crowns along the way.
She said: “I’m proud to be representing my Scottish heritage.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the sights and experiencing the different culture.
“I’d like to thank all my sponsors who have donated items to help me.”
