Pensioner shot with air rifle

Two teenagers have been charged after a pensioner was shot with an air rifle.
Police were called to Nursery Close, Sheerness, on Tuesday afternoon and later that day officers arrested the boys, both from Sheerness.
The 65-year-old man suffered a minor injury to his upper arm from a pellet.
A 16-year-old was charged with theft and possession of a loaded air weapon in a public place.
A 17-year-old was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and possession of a loaded air weapon in a public place.
Both have been bailed to October 15 when they are due to appear at Sittingbourne Youth Court.
