A Tardis, Jack Sparrow and Buzz Lightyear were the order of the day at Sheppey's first sci-fi festival.

It was held yesterday at Barton's Point Coastal Park with HG Wells’ Time Machine and a giant Martian Tripod among the attractions.

Also there was Kitt, the computer-controlled car from the TV series Knight Rider.
