Plans for a new town centre pizza shop chain have been submitted to a council.
If approved, Fireaway Pizza would open its ninth store in the county in Broadway, Sheerness.
Proposals sent to Swale council outline plans to change the former hairdressers at 110 Broadway, which is now vacant, into a takeaway shop.
Documents online reveal the popular pizza chain is behind the idea and has sent over drawings of what the new store could look like.
If given the green light it would join eight other Kent branches, in Rochester, Chatham, Gravesend, Tunbridge Wells, Sittingbourne, Folkestone, Maidstone and Dartford.
You can find out more about the plans here, with reference 22/504527/FULL.
The chain, which was opened by Mario Aleppo in 2016, can make pizzas with its handmade dough in around 180 seconds due to its 400-degree authentic pizza oven.
