Planners meet at controversial wind farm site

Council planners met with residents and other interested parties at the site of the proposed Sheerness wind farm.
Peel Wind Power's development manager Richard Dibley was present as councillors saw the location for themselves.
The firm is applying to erect 125m high turbines in the Lappel Bank area.
The proposal has met with opposition from across the Island.
Although Sheppey MP Derek Wyatt has given the scheme his backing.
