Police confirm man's death after emergency services were called to Harty Ferry Road, near Leysdown, on Sheppey

Police have confirmed a man has died after emergency services were called to a country lane.
Officers, along with paramedics and firefighters, were sent to Harty Ferry Road in Harty, near Leysdown, on Sheppey, shortly before 12.30pm yesterday.
Police initially said they were called to reports a man had been found unconscious in a vehicle.
But this morning, the force said the man had been found dead in a car.
A spokesman added: "The deceased man is in his 40s and from the Gillingham area.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be prepared for the coroner."
The man's next of kin have been informed.
