Police, ambulance and forensic investigators were at a house in Sheerness this afternoon after it is believed a man took his own life.
Three police cars and a forensic van arrived in Alma Road at about 2.30pm today (Thursday).
Witnesses said ambulance crews arrived and after going into the house, left again within about 10 minutes. It has not been confirmed how old the man was, but it is believed he was a Polish national and died from injures to his neck.
This, however, has not been confirmed by police. A number of police officers were seen going into the house, and aforensics officer was seen photographing the outside of the building. A PCSO was standing guard outside.
