A Sheppey pub has presented a cheque for nearly £450 to a charity which helps young people.
The Heritage in Minster Road, Minster, has been raising funds for the Swale Youth Development Fund (SYDF), since it opened in January 2014, through a collection bucket on the bar and an Easter egg basket raffle.
On Friday, the day before its one-year anniversary, owners Melvin and Margaret Hopper presented trustees of the charity with a cheque.
Saturday was also the 81st birthday of Rose Moreton, wife of the late Richard Moreton who created SYDF 30 years ago.
