MORE than 60 people attended an open day at a school which is changing from a middle into a primary school.
St George’s School held the open day last Tuesday ahead of when it changes to a primary school with the opening of the Isle of Sheppey Academy in September.
More than 60 parents and prospective parents attended the open day to find out more about how the school will work as a primary.
The architectural plans for the new school building were on display and representatives of Stadium Sports were there to offer advice about uniforms.
There were also prospectuses available and staff were on hand to give information about how the curriculum will work and after school and breakfast clubs.
New head teacher of the primary school, Howard Fisher, said: “It was a very successful day. The feedback was very positive.”
