Sheerness drugs raid: two arrested

Two people have been arrested in connection with a drugs raid in Sheerness this morning.
Officers swooped on a flat in Pepys Avenue at around 11.30am.
They found what is thought to have been heroin, with an estimated street value of £400.
Other items including pills, scales, £330 in cash and a mobile phone were also seized and taken for analysis.
A 48-year-old man from Sheerness, was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with the intent to supply. He is currently in police custody.
Police also arrested a 40-year-old woman, from Sheerness, on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug.
