Homes and shops on Sheppey were without electricity this morning after a power cable fell across a busy road.

For the second time in less than six months a cable owned by UK Power Networks crashed down across Minster Road, Minster.

The last time, a passing man was showered in sparks and needed medical treatment.

But power has now been returned to the area and luckily today there have been no reports of injuries.
