Showing off your spots for Pudsey
12:06, 18 November 2011
Sheppey will be showing its spots and hopefully raising lots for this year’s BBC Children in Need appeal.
There are lots of events taking place today.
The Harps Inn, Minster, will be donating 10% from all food sales.
Staff at Ginger Body and Soul, Sheerness, will be dressed up and holding a teddy bears picnic and donating 10% from all treatments.
Pyjamas are the fancy dress of choice for staff at BeezNeez hairdressers, Sheerness. They will also be holding a raffle.
Youngsters at St George’s Primary School, Minster, held a teddy bears picnic and party with a special visit from Pudsey on Wednesday.
When the appeal is broadcast tonight, there will be some well-known Sheppey faces to look out for.
Caleb Watson and fellow Round Table members are due to feature – they were filmed earlier to show how people prepare months in advance.
Members of Sheppey Healthy Living Centre’s Friday Club were interviewed after they were given funding by the charity and that will be aired on Radio Kent today. Creepy Claws is visiting the club to raise money.
