A dog owner is overjoyed after his beloved pet mysteriously reappeared nearly a week after he was stolen.
Mark Harris’s French bull mastiff Bruno was taken by a thief, who forced the front door to his property in Strode Crescent, Sheerness, on Sunday, August 9.
But yesterday evening - six days after Bruno vanished - Mr Harris returned from visiting his brother to find his dog had been left in his back garden.
The 48-year-old said: “I was so surprised.
“I went to open the back door to let my other dog out and then the door was pushed in on me as he rushed in.
“He’s lost a bit of weight and he was hungry and thirsty, but otherwise he’s okay.
“I would like to say thank you to everyone looked out for him.”
Do you know who took Bruno for six days? Call the police on 101 quoting reference number XY/027773/15 if you have any information.
