There's just days left to vote for your favourite cute kid.

Voting for this year’s competition closes at midnight on November 16.

In total, 239 children were entered into the contest after having their photos taken at Tesco, Sheerness.

This year we have introduced text voting alongside the traditional voting form in the paper.

We’re hoping that by doing this and placing all the photos on our website, friends and family who don’t live on Sheppey can’t take part as well.

There are no age categories – the three entrants with the highest number of votes will be crowned the winner and two runners-up.

The overall winner will scoop £450 cash, a framed portrait, flowers and chocolates, courtesy of Tesco.

The second-placed child will take away £150 cash, a framed portrait, flowers and chocolates.

And the third placed youngster will get £100 cash, a framed portrait, flowers and chocolates.

Editor Matt Ramsden said: "The votes have been flooding in so far with high numbers of voting forms and texts.

"This year’s competition is shaping up to be one of the most popular ever. There’s still time to vote, so get texting or send in your forms."

For details on how to vote, see this week’s paper or click on the Cute Kids’ icon to the right of this story.
