Water main burst in Whiteway Road, Queenborough

Engineers were called this morning after a water main burst in Queenborough.
Whiteway Road was flooded at 7am which affected the water pressure for households nearby.
A Southern Water inspector was sent and work to repair the fault was expected to finish shortly after 10am.
A spokesman for the water company said: “Southern Water is aware of a burst main and we are currently working to resolve the issue.
“Thankfully no properties have been left without water, and we are grateful for the patience of local residents while work is carried out.”
