Disruption on the Sheerness train line has now cleared following an earlier problem.
A power supply issue at Kemsley at around 12.30pm meant trains running from Sheerness to Sittingbourne had to be cancelled.
Instead, buses were put on for passengers for the next two hours.
The lines re-opened at 2.30pm but disruption continued until 3pm as trains ran at reduced speeds.
All services are now running as usual.
