Isle of Sheppey: Police chase 'drug dealers' from Richmond Street, Sheerness, to Queenborough Road

Two suspected drug dealers were arrested after a 50-minute police chase on Sheppey.
Officers from the Swale Community Policing Team tried to pull over a car in Richmond Street, Sheerness, at around 12.10pm on Thursday.
When the vehicle failed to stop, police gave chase.
The pursuit ended at around 1pm when the vehicle came to a stop in a field off Queenborough Road, Halfway, around two miles away.
A 55-year-old man from Wandsworth, London, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug, dangerous driving, failing to stop when requested to do so, aggravated vehicle taking and driving under the influence of drugs.
A 27-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug and aggravated vehicle taking.
Both have been released, pending further inquiries.
