Prisoners Scott Callaghan and Billy Harkins on the run from HMP Standford Hill, Eastchurch

Two inmates have absconded from one of Sheppey's jails.
Police were told on Saturday evening that the two men had fled from HMP Standford Hill, the open prison in Eastchurch.
They are 35-year-old Scott Callaghan, who is serving a sentence for perverting the course of justice and 29-year-old Billy Harkins, who was inside for aggravated burglary.
Officers are carrying out inquiries to trace the pair and have now issued an appeal to members of the public for help in tracking them down.
