VOLUNTEERS are needed to help clear rubbish from an area known as The Fleet in Sheerness on Sunday.
Local borough councillors Angela Harrison and Steve Worrall will help lead a team of people to remove shopping trolleys, a motorcycle frame and other debris from in and around the canal.
Volunteers, who should wear suitable clothes and sturdy footwear, are asked to meet at the Medway Road end of The Fleet at 10am. Black sacks and gloves will be provided.
