An air ambulance attended an incident in Leysdown this afternoon.

Police said officers were called to Sheppey Beach Villas at 12.45pm after reports of concern for a woman who had injured herself.

An Essex and Herts Air Ambulance landed at the Plaza in front of the Talk of the Town pub.

The woman was offered medical assistance before being flown to a London hospital.
