Woman cut free from car crash at Queenborough Corner, Sheppey

A woman had to be cut free after a two-car crash on Sunday.
Emergency services descended on the BP garage at Queenborough Corner, Queenborough, Sheppey.
Two fire crews were called and had to remove the roof of one of the cars.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said:"Two fire engines attended. Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of a car and release one casualty, who was passed into the care of SECAmb."
The firefighters were on site for more than an an hour-and-a-half from 3pm to 4.40pm.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "Ambulance crews attended and one person was assessed and treated before being taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with back pain."
The garage is across the road from the ambulance station and opposite the Aviator pub. A spokesman for Kent Police said they were called at 3pm and a woman was taken to hospital.
