A woman who fell between rocks and became "well and truly stuck" was rescued by fire crews.
The woman got wedged between the sea defence boulders near Marine Parade in Sheerness last night.
Two fire engines, ambulance crews, police and the Sheppey Coastguard team all attended the beach at 8pm to help rescue the trapped woman.
Crews used airbags and hydraulic rescue equipment to free the woman by 9pm. She was then cared for by paramedics.
A statement from the coastguard said: "Sheppey Coastguard team were tasked by Dover CGOC to a lady who had fallen between the rock armour on Sheerness beach.
"The lady was well and truly stuck.
"Kent Fire and Rescue took the lead in the rescue with Sheppey Coastguard team assisting.
"Police and the HART team from the Ambulance service also attended the scene.
"The lady was freed and had no injuries."
A South East Coast Ambulance Spokesman said a Hazardous Area Response Team went to help the fire service but no one required hospital treatment.
