KENT motorcycle ace Shane Byrne is making a good recovery after treatment on a dislocated wrist.
The MotoGP rider, from Minster near Sheerness, suffered the injury at the Czech GP and has visited a specialist in Ipswich in his bid to be fit for the next race in Japan on September 19.
Speaking on Tuesday Byrne said: “I’ve been there today and I’m going again on Thursday and I can actually feel it making a difference.
“I don’t know the specifics but there’s two different types of laser treatment and some magnetic treatment too. It’s not going to be an overnight miracle but I’m confident I’ll be fine for Japan.”
