March was dominated by two waves of weather, according to one meteorological enthusiast.
Jeremy Procter analyses conditions from his home near Sittingbourne where he has his own weather station.
Mr Procter said the first two weeks continued to be wet and windy, following the February trend.
The second half of the month saw conditions clear up while under the influence of an area of high pressure.
He added that it eventually caused drier, sunnier but colder conditions.
There were also brief showers of sleet and hail on Sunday, March 29.
More than the average amount of rain fell during March with 52mm over the first two weeks.
He also revealed the average temperature for the month was 7.1C, almost half a degree cooler than the Met Office average for the area.
