Crash on A249 near Sittingbourne northbound causing delays

A crash has prompted highways bosses to issue a warning of delays.
The incident, which happened at 10.21am on the northbound A249 carriageway near Sittingbourne, has been branded 'high severity' by the authority.
Emergency services are on the scene, which is approaching the A2 Key Street exit.
KCC Highways asked drivers in the area to "please use caution on the approach and expect delays."
Police said officers were called a single vehicle collision but no serious injuries were reported.
