Appeal after woman is hit with bicycle pump

KENT Police are appealing for information following an assault on a 50-year-old woman.
The incident occurred as the woman was walking in Mill Way at Sittingbourne and saw two males on bikes.
She stopped them to ask where she could get a drink of water. It is then alleged that one of the males hit her with his bicycle pump.
The woman suffered facial injuries in the incident which happened between 8pm and 8.20pm on Sunday, July 24.
