Bundles of cash totalling an estimated £30,000 were seized from a car abandoned following a police chase.
Officers had been concerned about the speed of the black Ford Focus, which failed to stop as it travelled on the Sittingbourne-bound carriageway of the A249.
The car was abandoned after it crashed into the middle of the Stockbury Roundabout and two men were found in nearby undergrowth following a search involving a sniffer dog and the National Police Air Service helicopter.
It happened at about 10.55pm on Sunday.
A 42-year-old man, from Sittingbourne, was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and money laundering, and a 35-year-old man, from Maidstone, on suspicion of money laundering.
Both men were released on bail until Friday, August 16 pending further inquiries by detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
