Sittingbourne town centre accident involving motorbike and tanker

Police, ambulance and fire crews were called this lunchtime to a crash outside Sittingbourne train station between a motorbike and a tanker.
Routes in and out of the town centre were log-jammed after the area around the St Michael's Road roundabout was closed. Traffic is now flowing.
The emergency services were called at 12.45pm.
Fire crews were called to the scene to deal with a fuel spillage from the motorbike.
The male biker was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with neck and foot injuries.
An eyewitness, who works nearby, said: "I just heard a big noise like something had smashed. Lots of people were stood around watching.
"It was really big incident. The man was taken away just after 2pm."
